Hypnotherapy for Panic Attacks
You know it’s probably not going to kill you. But in that moment — you’re not sure.
Your chest tightens. You can’t get enough air. Your heart is going so fast you can feel it in your throat. And the thought arrives — clear and certain — this is the one. This time I’m not going to make it.
You haven’t fainted. You haven’t died. But you were convinced you would. Every single time.
And now you’re waiting for the next one.
You’ve got smaller. Not all at once — gradually. There are places you don’t go any more. Things you’ve stopped doing. You don’t always go out alone. If you do, you know where the exits are, where you can sit with your back to the wall, how quickly you can get home if you need to.
You’ve tried the breathing. The CBT. The beta blockers, the sertraline. They help a bit — maybe. But the panic still comes. And every time it does, the world gets a little smaller.
The thing you’re most afraid of isn’t the panic itself. It’s what you imagine happening. Blacking out in public. Hitting your head on the floor. Coming round in a pool of blood with strangers standing over you, staring, and no one who knows you anywhere near.
The embarrassment of that. The helplessness of it.
You used to be fine. You used to go anywhere, do anything, not think twice. You don’t know who that person is any more.
You’ve started to wonder if this is just how it is now. If the best you can hope for is learning to manage it. Your last therapist — nice, well-meaning, did her best — gave you tools. The tools worked for a while. Now they don’t. And you’re running out of options.
Here's what nobody has told you
This doesn’t have to be managed. It can be finished.
Panic attacks are not a condition you develop and learn to live with. They’re a pattern — learned, specific, with a starting point. Something happened that taught your nervous system that certain situations mean danger. It’s been responding to that lesson ever since.
Find the lesson. Change it. The panic stops.
Not reduced. Not managed better. Stopped.
You don’t need to know when it started. That’s my job. The Mapping Session is specifically designed to find it — even when you can’t. Especially when you can’t.
What happens
We find where this started — the original event your nervous system has been responding to ever since. Once we find it, we change it. The pattern that’s been generating the panic doesn’t have a reason to run any more.
No breathing techniques. No coping strategies. No learning to live alongside it.
A specific problem. A specific source. A specific solution.
Most people leave the first session saying the same thing: I wish I’d done this sooner.
What it costs
It starts with a Mapping Session. Forty minutes. £97.
That comes off the programme cost if you go ahead. Programmes from £495.
I’ve sat with a lot of people who felt exactly the way you feel right now. They’re not feeling that way any more.
This is the last thing you try.
My diary fills weeks ahead. The slot available today may not be there tomorrow.
