About Me
I Don’t Help People Cope.
I Help Them Change Permanently.
My name is Alexandra. I have been doing this work for twelve years, with over 2,500 clients and more than 9,000 hours of one-to-one sessions behind me.
But numbers are not why you are reading this page.
You are reading it because you want to know who you are going to be sitting across from — and whether I actually understand what you are carrying.
I do. More than most.
How I Got Here
I did not arrive at this work in a straight line.
I was an academic first — English, Italian, Applied Ethics. I have a brain that needs to understand things at their root, not just their surface. I was never going to be satisfied with a superficial answer to anything, which turns out to be useful when your work involves finding out why people are the way they are.
The path between there and here was winding. There were chapters I would not have chosen and periods that cost me more than I expected. What I can tell you is that I have not arrived at this work from the outside — from a textbook or a training manual or an academic interest in human behaviour.
I arrived at it from the inside.
I know what it is to lose yourself. To carry something you cannot name. To understand your patterns intellectually and still feel completely unable to shift them. To reach a point where the version of you that got you this far is no longer enough.
I know what it takes to change at the root — because I have done it.
I am not going to make this page about my journey, because you are not here for my story. You are here because you need someone who can help with yours. And I do not believe you need your practitioner to have lived your exact experience — you need them to be genuinely expert, rigorously trained, and capable of seeing clearly what you cannot see from inside it.
But I will say this: I understand human suffering with a precision that does not come from books alone. And when you sit across from me — in the room or on screen — you will feel that within minutes.
What I Actually Do
I work at identity level.
Most therapeutic approaches address behaviour, thought patterns, or emotional responses. These are genuinely useful — but they work on the expression of the problem rather than its source.
What generates behaviour, thought, and feeling is identity — the unconscious position your system has been operating from, often since childhood. When that remains unchanged, patterns return. Different relationships, same dynamic. Different context, same feeling. Different year, same struggle.
I work at the level where the pattern was formed. When identity shifts, everything built on top of it shifts with it — not because you are trying harder, but because the structure generating the problem no longer exists.
This is why clients often tell me they do not just feel better. They feel like themselves — finally, without the weight.
Why I Work The Way I Do
I have a precise and analytical mind. I listen differently to most people — not for the story you are telling, but for the structure beneath it. The thing you almost said. The pattern in the details. The moment that everything else organised itself around.
In a Mapping Session I can usually see the whole picture within forty minutes. Not because I am guessing — because I have sat with over 2,500 versions of this conversation and I know what I am looking at.
I am direct. I do not offer false comfort or endless processing. I am not interested in helping you understand your patterns — I am interested in changing them. There is a difference, and it matters.
I also genuinely love this work. Not the version of it that involves managing symptoms indefinitely — the version that involves watching someone leave a session carrying something they were not carrying when they arrived. The lightness of it. The moment they realise the thing they thought was permanent is already gone.
Twelve years in, that still does not get old.
What You Get When You Work With Me
When someone commits to this work, I commit completely.
My entire focus goes on you — on understanding your specific situation, on seeing what you cannot see, and on finding the fastest and most precise route to the outcome you came for. Not a generic outcome. Yours.
This is never about what someone else in your life wants for you. Not a parent, not a partner, not whoever may be paying for the sessions. The person in the chair is the only person I am working for — full stop.
I am, when you are in the room with me, your most obsessive and dedicated cheerleader. Everything I have goes into winning for you. I take your progress personally in the best possible sense — when you shift, I feel it. When you bail early or hold back, I feel that too.
I detach when I leave. I do not carry it home. But while you are mine to work with, you have my complete attention and my complete investment — and people feel that from the first session.
This is also why I am selective about who I work with now. Not because I am precious about it — but because I give everything, and everything deserves to go to the right people. The ones who are ready. The ones who will use it.
Full-on Alexandra, it turns out, is quite something.
And everyone who has experienced it will tell you — you want me in your corner.

What Clients Often Say After Working With Me
“Going to Alexandra was one of the best decisions I have ever made. She was so welcoming and understanding every single session. I finished my sessions around six months ago and my issues are still fully resolved. I cannot recommend her enough. An absolute blessing.”

The Next Step
If something on this page has confirmed what you already suspected — that this might be the right fit — the next move is straightforward.
The Mapping Session is where we find out for certain. Forty minutes. Complete clarity. And almost always, the beginning of something that changes everything.
